The Atomic Power Robot is an enemy in EarthBound and Mother 3. It seems to be based on the EnergyRobot from EarthBound Beginnings, and in both games there is also a more difficult version known as the Nuclear Reactor Robot.

The Atomic Power Robot can be encountered in the Stonehenge Base. Along with firing a beam, it will frequently replenish its fuel supply, casting Lifeup Ξ³ on itself or allies without using PP, and it will explode upon death, dealing damage to all party members. It may spawn alongside up to two Starman Supers, two Military Octobots, or a Mook Senior.

This robot is first found in Chapter 5. It explodes when defeated, unless turned to face the other direction. It will also not turn back around.
