Mega Boos,[1][2] also known as King Boos,[3] are variants of Big Boo that appear in Super Mario Galaxy 2 and its Nintendo Switch port. They appear in only one mission, Haunty Halls Galaxy's "Sneaking Down the Creepy Corridor", where they follow Mario or Luigi through a thin hall, not stopping unless they are looked at or either brother reaches a Power Star or Launch Star. Mega Boos are accompanied by four Big Boos, and Mega Boos are several times larger than they are.
A similar-acting enemy, Boohemoth, later appears in New Super Mario Bros. 2. King Boo is also given a similar behavior in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Neither of these are accompanied by Big Boos, however.
