Primary ruby mine with a skarn yielding painite, usually intergrown with tiny ruby crystals. The mine is not operational any longer. The adit has been sealed with concrete, but the extensive dump is still being searched by the locals.
The mine can be easily reached from Baw-lone-gyi (in November 2016, due to a recent landslide near the start of the gravel road to the mine, the dump is only reachable by motorbike or foot).
