Hydrothermal quartz vein-type gold deposit with alkaline complex, which crops out over an area of 2.5 km2, is located in the southeast of the Luxi Block, and mainly comprises a quartz syenite, a hornblende syenite, monzonite, and a hornblende diorite. Besides REE, gold mineralization occurs at Longbaoshan and is mainly hosted in quartz veins. There are also some veins containing both REE and gold mineralization. The Longbaoshan deposit is the only known deposit in the Luxi Block that exhibits both gold and REE mineralization. According to existing exploration reports, the gold ore body grade typically ranges from 2 to 5 g/t, with a maximum of 32 g/t. The estimated resource of rare earth oxides is 145,000 tons, with an average grade of 2.12 %.
