The Bu Me deposit has medium-sized reserves and contains 3,098 tons of WO3 and 1,287 tons of Sn. The Sn content ranges from 0.05 % to 0.67 %, with an average of 0.11 %, exhibiting uneven variation. The WO3 (tungsten trioxide) content ranges from 0.005 % to 1.657 %, with an average of 0.237 %. The Sn-W economic mineralization at the Bu Me deposit occurs close to the contact zones of the granite massif of the Ban Chieng Complex. The massif intrudes the Middle Triassic Dong Trau terrigenous and volcanic rocks, resulting in strong thermal alteration. The Bu Me deposit includes the Doi Tron, Ho Kin, and Ho Tom mineralization zones, which are located within a single sub-meridional zone in the east of the granite massif. The width of the altered zones reaches 300 to 500 m and the length is about 3 km. The Bu Me deposit consists of twelve ore bodies located in three mineralized zones (Doi Tron, Ho Kin, Ho Tom). The Doi Tron zone is the largest of these zones and includes ten ore bodies ranging in length from 30 to 400 m and thickness from 0.6 to 50 m. Ore bodies are represented by quartz veins and greisen. The tungsten content tends to decrease while the tin content increases from the Doi Tron to the Ho Kin zone.
