Football Manager 2016 Released For SteamOS / Linux
Football Manager 2016 was released today by SEGA. Compared to the past where the Linux port came after the fact, Football Manager 2016 has seen a same-day release for Windows, OS X, and SteamOS/Linux.
Football Manager 2016 launched today at a price of $49.99 USD via the Steam Store. For those not familiar with the Football Manager game series, "Football Manager is the most realistic, in-depth and immersive football management simulation available β itβs the closest thing to doing the job for real. Taking control of any squad from more than 50 countries across the world, you decide who plays and who sits on the bench, deal with the media and solve player problems. You're in total control of tactics, team-talks, substitutions and pitch-side instructions as you follow the match live with the acclaimed 3D match engine."
Football Manager 2016 on Linux recommends at least a NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT, Radeon HD 2400 PRO, and Intel HD 3000/4000 graphics. The game isn't too demanding on the graphics front with reportedly just needing OpenGL 2.0.
