AMD EPYC Genoa/Bergamo and recent Intel Xeon CPUs were fairly similar with their SVT-AV1 video encode performance but now with Turin is a significant generational leap in performance.
Turin dense does a much better job at handling video encode than the Xeon 6 Sierra Forest processors.
The AMD EPYC 9005 series processors were also leading in other video encoder/transcoding workloads.
