The AMD EPYC 9005 series has been a delight to benchmark thus far with AMD continuing to push core counts higher both for dense and classic core types.

Looking at the single-threaded performance with Zstd, AMD EPYC Turin was delivering nice generational gains over EPYC Genoa/Bergamo processors.

The single-threaded performance was also fascinating to look at with PyBench for Python 3 performance... AMD EPYC Genoa/Bergamo trailed Sapphire Rapids in single-threaded Python performance (only beating out Sierra Forest) but now with EPYC Turin the single-threaded performance exceeds that of Emerald Rapids and Granite Rapids.

The EPYC Turin processors had very nice advantages over Intel Xeon and great generational gains with Numpy performance.
