Intel's Clear Linux Demonstrates Software Optimization Benefits On AMD EPYC 9005 Series
As we have covered for years, Intel's Clear Linux continues to run at the forefront of Linux performance innovations. Though Ubuntu 25.04 beta has caught up in some areas... We also haven't heard as much out of Intel in recent months about Clear Linux, but as shown by these tests today it's still performing mighty aggressively even on modern AMD EPYC servers.
Ubuntu 25.04 did pull off some surprising upsets against Clear Linux in some of the OpenJDK 21 Java benchmarks, but Clear Linux continued to show its prowess on AMD hardware.
