Intel Arc B570 Graphics Performance On Linux
The Arc B-Series graphics cards even with the newer Mesa 25.0-devel code as of a few days ago was still hanging F1 22 when trying to run this racing game under Steam Play.
The Battlemage graphics were also not performing well relative to Alchemist with the GPUScore Breaking Limit benchmark.
The Arc B570 and Arc B580 were a nice upgrade over the Alchemist GPUs for the HITMAN game running on Linux via Steam Play but the Intel graphics performance remained well behind the competing AMD Radeon and NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards.
With the OpenGL-rendered Unigine Superposition benchmark, the Arc B570 was delivering decent uplift over the prior gen A580 while also delivering superior power efficiency for the Intel Arc Graphics.
The Battlemage graphics were performing much faster now with FurMark thanks to continued Intel Mesa performance optimizations.
