When turning to the heavier creator workloads like Darktable RAW photography, the Core Ultra 7 255H was falling behind AMD's Ryzen AI Max "Strix Halo" processors or even the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 "Strix Point" laptop tested when at the default balanced profile. The performance profile did allow the Arrow Lake H SoC to perform more competitively here.
With the RawTherapee application, the performance profile did allow the Core Ultra 7 255H to compete with the HP ZBook Ultra G1a with Strix Halo SoCs and with better power efficiency too.
The Strix Halo hardware tested also continued delivering better performance over the Core Ultra 7 255H in multi-threaded workloads like Blender.
