There is quite a bit of a performance difference between the out-of-the-box/balanced and performance profiles on the ThinkPad P1 Gen 8 for those that hadn't evaluated that possible impact yet.
For the heavy multi-threaded creator workloads, AMD's Strix Halo and Strix Point continue standing up very well under Linux.
Even with Intel's own OSPRay Studio application, the AMD Strix Halo hardware has a hefty performance advantage thanks to AVX-512 in this case.
And similarly for the Intel Embree ray-tracing kernels.
