For those concerned about single-threaded Python performance on Arrow Lake, the Core Ultra 9 285K did manage to come out ahead of the tested Zen 5 CPUs.
The Core Ultra 9 285K was delivering leading Python scripting performance with PyPerformance benchmarks.
👁 simdjson benchmark with settings of Throughput Test: PartialTweets. Ryzen 9 9900X was the fastest.
Simdjson for JSON parsing meanwhile was the fastest on the AMD Ryzen 9000 series thanks to this library able to leverage AVX-512.
The Ryzen 9000 series with AVX-512 512-bit data path also yield the best performance for Numpy.
Arrow Lake does come on top for the best PHP performance.
