👁 QMCPACK benchmark with settings of Input: H4_ae. Core Ultra X7 358H - MSI Prestige 14 was the fastest.

👁 GROMACS benchmark with settings of Implementation: MPI CPU, Input: water_GMX50_bare. Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 - Zenbook S16 was the fastest.

👁 LAMMPS Molecular Dynamics Simulator benchmark with settings of Model: Rhodopsin Protein. Core Ultra X7 358H - MSI Prestige 14 was the fastest.

👁 LAMMPS Molecular Dynamics Simulator benchmark with settings of Model: 20k Atoms. Ryzen 7 PRO 7840U - ThinkPad P14s G4 was the fastest.

👁 NAMD benchmark with settings of Input: ATPase with 327,506 Atoms. Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 - Zenbook S16 was the fastest.

👁 NAMD benchmark with settings of Input: STMV with 1,066,628 Atoms. Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 - Zenbook S16 was the fastest.

In some of the technical computing / HPC workloads Strix Point came out ahead thanks to AVX-512, but overall Panther Lake was racking up a lot more wins here than I had anticipated going into it.

The power efficiency of the Core Ultra X7 358H while cranking through these demanding workloads was quite impressive.
