For those doing a lot of web server development locally or looking ahead to small form factor Panther Lake PCs for a SOHO Linux server or the like, the Core Ultra X7 358H can deliver very energy efficient performance at the edge.

The AMD Ryzen AI Strix Point processors were delivering the best results for Apache Cassandra.

Overall at the laptop defaults the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H was delivering very nice energy efficient Linux server workload performance for those re-tasking laptops or looking ahead to mini PCs / edge devices based around Panther Lake should open up some interesting uses for low-power edge devices.

The Core Ultra X7 358H was delivering the best performance out of the mobile CPUs tested for Nginx HTTPS web serving while having a nice lead too in performance-per-Watt.
