AMD Radeon AI PRO R9700 Offers Competitive Workstation Graphics Performance/Value

For Vulkan ray-tracing workloads, the Radeon AI PRO R9700 performs better than the prior generation RDNA3-based Radeon PRO W7900 graphics card. With Breaking Limit the Radeon AI PRO R9700 even with this Vulkan ray-tracing work was outperforming the NVIDIA RTX 4000 Ada Generation. The RADV ray-tracing capabilities are finally in good shape these days compared to the slow start for Radeon ray-tracing with this open-source Mesa driver years ago.

GravityMark with Vulkan ray-tracing also had the Radeon AI PRO R9700 continuing to outperform the more expensive NVIDIA RTX 4000 Ada Gen graphics card.

And for those looking at the Unigine Engine for its professional/simulation purposes, the AMD Radeon AI PRO R9700 was running well there on the AMD open-source Linux graphics driver stack.
