With the Hashcat 7.0 password recovery software that is GPU accelerated via OpenCL, Rusticl was off to a surprisingly great start. Across the different algorithms benchmarked, the Rusticl driver on the AMD Strix Halo SoC with Radeon 8060S Graphics was typically very close to the performance of using the official AMD OpenCL driver with ROCm. With only a few algorithms did ROCm have a measurable lead over Rusticl on this hardware.
