The Darktable RAW photography software that supports OpenCL acceleration was competitive between the two drivers with Rusticl even leaning slightly ahead in some of the benchmarks.
With the ViennaCL linear algebra library performance the Rusticl performance wasn't too far behind ROCm. But there were also a number of ViennaCL test cases where Rusticl failed to run but ROCm had worked fine.
