With libxsmm, Arrow Lake maintained a lead still over Zen 5 for this benchmark but the Ryzen 9 9900 series were cutting into Intel's advantage when using Ubuntu 25.04.

👁 miniBUDE benchmark with settings of Implementation: OpenMP, Input Deck: BM2. Ryzen 9 9950X: April 2025 was the fastest.

👁 GROMACS benchmark with settings of Implementation: MPI CPU, Input: water_GMX50_bare. Ryzen 9 9950X: April 2025 was the fastest.

👁 NAMD benchmark with settings of Input: ATPase with 327,506 Atoms. Ryzen 9 9950X: April 2025 was the fastest.

👁 NAMD benchmark with settings of Input: STMV with 1,066,628 Atoms. Ryzen 9 9950X: April 2025 was the fastest.

In some HPC benchmarks there were nice improvements found on Ubuntu 25.04 for both Intel Arrow Lake and AMD Zen 5.
