In some of the other workloads were the occasional random wins on Ubuntu 25.04 beta but no widescale performance shifts for this particular AMD Ryzen desktop used in this initial round of Ubuntu 25.04 benchmarking.
The OpenJDK Java workload performance was mixed with some nice improvements over Ubuntu 24.10 but in other areas small regressions. OpenJDK Java 21 remains the default JDK/JRE on Ubuntu 25.04.
