In some of the heavier HPC-type workloads the performance was fairly flat on the current Ubuntu 25.10 development state.
In some of the synthetic micro-benchmarks are some nice improvements with Ubuntu 25.10 thanks to the newer Linux kernel.
👁 Stress-NG benchmark with settings of Test: Context Switching. Ubuntu 25.10 31 Aug was the fastest.
Stress-NG was pointing to some nice kernel improvements with Ubuntu 25.10. Not bad for the kernel enhancements made over just the past few months.
