Ukraine received the German portion of Patriot PAC-3 missiles on Tuesday, which were agreed upon with several partner countries during the latest Ukraine Defense Contact Group (Ramstein format) meeting, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

"Indeed, at the last Ramstein meeting partners agreed that we would receive approximately the number of missiles for the Patriot systems, specifically PAC-3, that you mentioned [35 missiles]," Zelenskyy told journalists during a meeting with Bundestag President Julia Klöckner.

The president said the missiles were provided not by a single country but by several partners.

"This is one of the air defense packages that we periodically agree on with our partners. We wanted more, but it turned out as it did. The German part of these missiles arrived yesterday," Zelenskyy said.

Earlier it was reported that a package of around 35 PAC-3 surface-to-air missiles for Patriot air defense systems, largely assembled by Germany with the participation of European partners, is expected to be delivered to Ukraine in the coming weeks.
