The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS), together with representatives of the European Commission's Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG ECHO), as well as the German Red Cross and the Danish Red Cross, held discussions on cooperation.

"The parties… reviewed cooperation within the framework of the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism (UCPM) and identified priority areas of activity for 2026," the URCS said in a Facebook post on Thursday.

Participants in the meeting also focused on the humanitarian situation in Ukraine and the key areas of response by the Ukrainian Red Cross Society. Particular attention was given to preparations for the winter period.

As noted by the URCS, the organization continues systematic engagement with international partners to strengthen humanitarian response and support populations affected by the war.
