Third group participants' businesses show growth - REDpreneurUA monitoring
The REDpreneurUA program team conducted monitoring visits to third cohort participants in March to assess the development of their businesses following the receipt of grant support.
"During the monitoring visits, we saw how the third cohort businesses are transitioning to a growth stage. This is not only about product or service development, but about the ability of entrepreneurs to adapt, find new opportunities, and build resilience even in challenging conditions," said Serhiy Shestak, leading specialist in micro and small business and startup development support at the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS).
The monitoring confirmed that program participants are effectively utilizing grant support, knowledge, and mentoring, adapting to challenges, and confidently moving toward sustainable business development, the URCS reported on Facebook.
The majority of visited enterprises are expanding production, testing new products, entering new markets, and forming partnerships. At the same time, they have strengthened their social dimension - creating jobs, supporting vulnerable population groups, and contributing to the development of local communities.
The monitoring team was able to observe the operations of enterprises from various sectors of the economy, visiting Uniqchild - a STEM school for children combining programming, robotics, and English; Food for You - a producer of ready-made long-shelf-life meals; and Itara - a craft walnut products manufacturer. Team members also visited a skateboard manufacturer (One True Skateboards), a children's rehabilitation center "Ty Mozhesh" (You Can), TM Pozhyva, and Formotvorchi Toys, a campervan rental service (Mandry in UA), an online pampushka bakery in Lviv, and an apitourism and wellness initiative.
The third REDpreneurUA cohort focused on supporting social enterprises that are already operational and seeking to scale - entering new markets, finding partners, attracting investment, and implementing sustainable growth tools.
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society implements the REDpreneurUA program in partnership with the Austrian Red Cross, with support from the NACHBAR IN NOT foundation and the participation of the Spanish Red Cross.
