Russian troops have encountered problems and a decline in activity is being recorded on the frontline due to the blocking of unregistered Starlink satellite Internet terminals, a source in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) told Interfax-Ukraine.

According to the agency's interlocutor, the Starlink shutdown has negatively affected the communications and command and control of Russian troops. In some areas of the frontline, there is a decrease in the number of assaults.

Advisor to Minister of Defense Serhiy Beskrestnov (call sign "Flash") said that due to the blocking of Starlink, the Russian troops "lost all control," and assault operations stopped in many directions. According to him, problems with Starlink in Ukrainian units arose only where the terminals did not submit their entries to the "white list" in time.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov confirmed that Starlink, which the Russians used in the war against Ukraine, has already been blocked. Registration of Ukrainian terminals continues. Earlier, Fedorov announced the launch of verification of Starlink terminals in Ukraine.
