Ukrposhta plans to launch agency points for parcel delivery at end of Q1-2026
JSC Ukrposhta plans to launch agency points for parcel delivery at the end of Q1-2026, which will operate in cafes, shops and other service points, the company's CEO Igor Smelyansky told Interfax-Ukraine in a comment.
"We sign agreements with partners to hand out parcels, and we pay them for each delivery. This does not involve any capital expenditures or expensive renovations. The most effective approach is to quickly expand the network so itβs convenient and cost-effective for our customers to receive parcels," said Smelyansky.
The CEO of Ukrposhta added that the project is currently in the testing phase, and Kyiv residents can already receive parcels at nine pilot locations.
"Of course, we will monitor quality to ensure parcels are properly handled and all rules are followed. We will continue to bring in new partners," Smelyansky emphasized.
Separately, the company plans to install about 1,000 parcel lockers at the start of 2026 and update its mobile app, allowing customers to manage parcels conveniently, including redirecting shipments to other branches or lockers.
Earlier, Ukrposhta told the agency that in 2026 it plans a large-scale modernization of its branch network nationwide. Currently, the company operates more than 6,000 branches and 26,000 service points across Ukraine.
