Unlike the original Minecraft, spiders were hostile mobs and attacked without provocation.

Obtaining

Spiders were common mobs that could be found in oak tappables with a chance of 2.0%. They could also be obtained from adventure chests and the "Sand Sanctuary" buildplate.
