The Minecraft Wiki logo was last update in 2023. On the other hand Minecraft Wiki Header was last updated in 2021. Seeing how much the wiki has changed since then, I'm opening this suggestion forum for a New Minecraft Wiki Header.

The header is our wordmark as used on our logo, just without the globe. That text didn't change with new new logo during the fork so I see no reason to change it. -- 👁 Image

This kind of stuff usually works like this: you made something and you open a discussion. Here you're just suggesting that we change the wordmark, for the sake of changing the wordmark. And you don't even bring a specific suggestion for anyone to consider. Why should we change the wordmark, other than the fact that the wordmark is 3 years old? The previous Minecraft Wiki wordmark was used from 2012 until 2021 (9 years) and the current wordmark is still inspired by that previous one and has essentially the same format. It has served us well so far and don't see any problems with it. As for the logo, the only reason it changed last year is because we moved from Fandom and wanted to keep this wiki identifiably different from Fandom's, even with the logo you see on Google search results and the like (since we couldn't change the Fandom logo). We don't need to update our brand constantly; the point of a brand is that it stays around for a while and is recognizable. The current wordmark is perfectly fine, I see no reasons to change it. If it weren't for Mojang's dumb IP protection rul,es we'd probably still be using the old logo anyway.--Capopanzo (talk | contribs) 14:00, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
