This article contains instructions for creating isometric renders of LEGO pieces, including pieces from the Minecraft themes. This guide assumes the user is already experienced in Studio. See Introduction to Studio in the Studio Help Center to learn more.

Pieces can be identified by checking the last pages of digital instructions, which are available from LEGO's Building Instructions. These manuals list each piece type with its element ID (a numbered identifier for the exact shape plus color). However, Studio only shows the design IDs (an identifier for the exact shape). Therefore, the element ID may need to be searched online (e.g. on Google) to find the matching design ID. Once the design ID is found, it can be entered in the search box in Studio's catalog panel.
Once the pieces are placed in the viewport, select Render from the ribbon at the top of the program. When rendering multiple individual pieces in a single scene for parts tables on LEGO set pages, ensure that the pieces do not reflect each other. In the render window, select the Photoreal tab. In the Background & Light section, select Transparent, uncheck floor shadow, and turn on Lights Follow Camera. In the Camera Setup section, select Orthographic and choose the second rotation option. All other settings should remain at their default values.
The render preview can be zoomed using the mouse scroll wheel and panned with the left mouse button.
After setting everything up, click either Add to Queue or Render
For post-processing, unnecessary canvas space in the render must be removed. Any image editing program can be used.
