The following is a list of viable official sources of information that can be used in the wiki as citations. Also included are links to corresponding citation templates. Unless stated otherwise, {{Citation}} should be used when citing the following sources.
Generally, sources are only required for information that cannot be easily tested in-game. This includes information such as intentions of, quotes from, and information about Mojang Studios employees. This also includes any game content that has not appeared in a development or released version.
