items-atlas in 14w21b, the last version to use this file.

items-atlas was a texture atlas used by the game to store textures for items, following the deprecation of items.png

It was eventually merged with blocks-atlas to form textures-atlas.

Java Edition
1.513w02aAdded items-atlas[verify] with the deprecation of items.png.
13w02bitems-atlas's dimensions must always be powers of two.[verify]
1.7.213w41aitems-atlas and its dimensions are now announced in the game log when loading the game and when changing resource packs.
1.814w25aitems-atlas has been merged with blocks-atlas to create textures-atlas.

1.513w02aThe game now outputs copies of the atlas, under the name stitched_items.png, to the .minecraft folder.
13w02bThe file produced in the .minecraft folder now has dimensions restricted to powers of two. Whether this also applies to the atlas itself is unknown.
13w03aThe file produced in the .minecraft folder now has transparency; previously it was completely opaque.
13w09aThe produced file has been renamed from stitched_items.png to debug.stitched_items.png.
1.6.113w18adebug.stitched_items.png is no longer produced in the .minecraft folder.
