The brilliant beetle home is a point of interest found in jungles that brilliant beetles inhabit.
The brilliant beetle home is a square portion of raised terrain containing a small pond surrounded by stone and a large tree stump with its upper portion fallen on its side beside it. Uniquely from other trees in the jungle biome, the stump and log are covered in large purple mushrooms.
In the Campaign, the home is the only place that brilliant beetles can spawn until one is mounted by the player, which then allows them to spawn anywhere in jungles. Additionally once one is mounted, a short cutscene plays, showing a brilliant beetle crawling out from behind a large tree trunk and spinning in the air.
In Versus Mode, brilliant beetles can spawn anywhere in jungles from the beginning of a match, but spawn more commonly in the home.
