A frost tower is a defensive power tower in Minecraft Legends.
Knowledge was responsible for the construction of power towers during the Overworld's creation to assist the Hosts. It is unknown what Knowledge originally built them for, and despite their ancient nature, they stood strong. However, after the Hero discovered one frost tower, the Hosts notice that one of these towers shot an ice cube that slowed down a piglin runt and turned it into an ice statue, causing the other two runts to flee out of panic.
Frost towers can be found naturally already built in tundra biomes, though they won’t work or be able to be used until collected.
Frost towers can be built for 125 stone, 100 diamond, and one frost tower core using a build allay. To obtain frost tower cores, a frost tower must be found within the overworld and 100 gold and 25 diamond must be spent upon interacting with it. To do this, the collect power towers improvement must have been previously built at an improvement hub.
Frost towers can be built by players for 600 stone and 400 diamond using a build allay. To do this, the build power towers improvement must have been previously built at an improvement hub.
Frost towers periodically shoot one large ice cube at nearby enemies which completely freezes them, giving them a frozen appearance and preventing them from moving. Enemies hit by the attack are also slowed and take damage over time. It cannot be buffed by other stuctures, but can be repaired by Carpenter Hut.
