The Minecraft Movie Build Challenge is a sweepstakes^[1] hosted through gleam.io starting from May 30, 2026 with submissions closing 2026-06-09T6:59:59Z, and the contest itself ending around July 6, 2026.^[2] Users may download the Minecraft Movie Build Challenge map through the Marketplace and build in a "plains, taiga, badlands, or frozen ocean",^[2] with a build or builds from the competition appearing in a future movie.^[3]

The prize for the competition is a personal, private screening of A Minecraft Movie Squared, with their build potentially appearing in the film or in its credits.^[4]
