Spark Universe is a game development and animation studio, responsible for developing many add-ons and maps for the Marketplace. Among their work, they are known for making many releases promoting A Minecraft Movie. They also jointly created the resource pack for the A Minecraft Movie Live Event, along with Mojang.

The Spark Pets Add-On were one of the first add-ons to be added on the Marketplace, with it being heavily advertised by Minecraft. This add-on has custom pets which follow the player around, similar to a wolf or a cat.
