Instead of moving the page to '26', as that name is quite inaccurate considering that all other pages have a '.' after them for the many versions, I suggest we have 26 redirect to 26.x.

EDIT: It seems that 26 already redirects to this page. My new suggestion is to keep it as it is right now. Iactuallycantdothat (talk) 02:32, 17 December 2025 (UTC)

But no one will search for 26.x, and 26 is a better name for this page than 26.x. -- 👁 Image

When I am looking for 26.2, I am looking for the Java Edition game drop. Not the Bedrock Edition hotfix. Why is this considered ambiguous when there is a much more obvious target page that readers are expecting to go to?

How exactly is a game drop for one edition equal to a hotfix for another? I don't agree with this reasoning; readers such as the feedback submitter will search "26.2" expecting to be taken to the Java Edition game drop only to end up here because apparently a random hotfix makes it too ambiguous as to what they are looking for. 👁 Image
