Minecraft Education and Education Edition are different. Why did you add both categories of these two editions? ๐ Image

- Oh? They are? The reason I added them was because I had thought someone made a mistake and rewrote the category by accident. If you haven't already, I will promptly revert the edits. Iactuallycantdothat () 20:27, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
- Okay, done! Iactuallycantdothat () 21:52, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you! ๐ Image

To give a reasoning about the removal of textures in history sections (Special:Diff/3145189, Special:Diff/3145197, and Special:Diff/3145209): when renders can be used instead, history of textures have always been in Java Edition history of textures and Bedrock Edition history of textures, as well as in asset history subpages when they exist, not in history sections. Including textures in the table because the "texture could change" just clutters it.
I'm not against their inclusion in a specific sub-section, outside of the main table, but the proposal (Forum:Compact history table#violine1101's proposal) hasn't been much discussed yet and it'd just lead to inconsitency. - Zamburger (talk) 17:25, 7 September 2025 (UTC)
- It has been in multiple other pages, so we have to decide as a community for this. For now, I suggest we leave it there as basically every block page has the item textures in their history sections. The asset history pages are also not complete, so we cannot rely on that currently.Iactuallycantdothat () 18:29, 7 September 2025 (UTC)
- Which other pages have it? I did try to look whether this had changed and is know something we do before sending my comment, but I couldn't find any page doing it beside these 3. - Zamburger (talk) 19:00, 7 September 2025 (UTC)
- The "Doors" pages, like iron, copper, and wooden, the iron bars page, the iron chain page, etc. Iactuallycantdothat () 23:55, 7 September 2025 (UTC)
- Alright, I see. It makes sense to do that for doors as the items and the blocks are two completely different things. For chains, it happens to be the remnants of the fact that there was no JE1 BE1 chain renders up until very recently. As for iron bars though, I don't really know why it's there, it appears to have been added quite recently and arbitrarily.
- Coincidentally, someone opened a forum topic about it earlier today: Forum:Texture history section. - Zamburger (talk) 12:43, 9 September 2025 (UTC)
- Alright, so I think this problem is quite solved now. Unless the community comes together to change all of the history section textures, we should keep it in there as most (if not all) pages have them in there. Iactuallycantdothat () 15:21, 9 September 2025 (UTC)
You might as well use {{Currently editing}}, given that it's much more effective at warning when a page is currently being edited. RedX (talk) 00:50, 11 December 2025 (UTC)
- I did not know that a template like that exists. I will use that from now on. Thanks! Iactuallycantdothat () 00:59, 11 December 2025 (UTC)

There is currently a discussion at the admin noticeboard regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Liyz7928 (talk) 02:41, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
- Why are you using a warning template? Someone not having autopatrol isn't an "issue". -~- Nerdyguy2000 Talk Edits 14:38, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
I'm a patroller. Thanks for creating the redirects and for your contributions to the Minecraft Education pages! โLauraFi - talk 19:13, 21 February 2026 (UTC)

No, having a sprite that's the wrong size is not worse than having a sprite that's facing the wrong direction, it looks hideous and inconsistent. Faei (talk) 18:00, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
- I get that it would be inconsistent either way, but why I thought it would be worse is because of the uses of the Invicon. In crafting recipes and such, if the image is the wrong size, it is offset, and I personally think that it is worse than facing the wrong direction. Of course, I cannot judge of other people's opinions, but this is me letting you know why I thought that way. Iactuallycantdothat () 22:03, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
