Talk:Allay

From code reading in java edition, allays do not discern any data components, so not just names, enchantments, or shulker box content, except they do discern potion_contents.
Prior to this component, the check's just done against the corresponding potion nbt data.

I did a few rough tests to double-check, but I don't know how to feasibly verify all possible components:

• Allays holding an enchanted item of some enchantment combination and levels still picks up the same base item even if it's unenchanted, renamed, has different enchantment combination and levels, or exactly the same.
• Allays holding night vision (8:00) does not pick up other potion types, or night vision (3:00), or splash/lingering night vision (discern potion_contents).
• Allays holding night vision (8:00) does pick up renamed night vision (8:00) (matching potion_contents, and other components ignored)

I also just learned that data components don't exist on bedrock when trying to link to it. So it warrants more testing.

1. They do not discern different enchantments, levels, combinations, enchanted/unenchanted, shulker box content, durability (same as java)
2. They do discern potions (same as java)
3. They do not discern renamed potions (pick up) (same as java)
4. They do not discern differently named diamond chestplates (same as java), but do discern differently named anvils (different from java)

1-3 are the same as java But for 4, I don't know if the difference is due to stackability or something else.
Coincidentally, everything I used to test 1 are unstackable like the diamond chestplate, so those should also be checked again with whatever caused 4.

Most of the times I had no idea about bedrock at all T-T

So my main concern is in how version differences are handled. Especially when it comes to testing/verifying things on that side.
