Are they nuetral or are they passive? CrockCraftMC (talk) 16:29, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- They are passive, they never really "attack" the player. They target the player when ridden by husks/skeletons because hostile mobs control the mount (similar to how chicken is "hostile" when ridden by a zombie).--Capopanzo (talk | contribs) 16:31, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- Yea, in the new youtube video they mention how the Camel Husk is an "undead neutral mob". I think Mojang considers the undead mounts as neutral because they are monsters. Rogerio980Pizzaa (talk) 16:42, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- They aren't really neutral though, they never attack the player. Zombie nautiluses sure, but zombie horses and camel husks are always passive.--Capopanzo (talk | contribs) 16:44, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- I feel like we should just leave it as it is now(passive by default hostile as a mount) CrockCraftMC (talk) 16:45, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- Indeed, but that's what the minecraft youtube channel said, not me. Tho I do think we should differentiate them a bit from normal passive mobs, with a subcategory or something. Rogerio980Pizzaa (talk) 16:46, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- They should be described as passive monsters, they are passive in behavior but are also bound to other monster spawning mechanics (i.e. they don't spawn in peaceful). I wouldn't really take Minecraft promotional videos and articles as the gospel, they are inaccurate or use inaccurate wording sometimes. We should describe things as they actually behave in the game.--Capopanzo (talk | contribs) 16:49, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- I agree, I was thinking of adding like a note or something in the navboxes saying like "Hostile-adjacent", like this. Rogerio980Pizzaa (talk) 16:53, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- That idea sounds good 172.56.94.94 16:58, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- I agree with CrockCraftMC. They are a passive mob, like Zombie Horses, Skeleton Horses and Chickens. They are only controlled by the mob that is riding them, like a Zombie, Skeleton or a Baby Zombie. It is kind of like a player. A Horse is passive to a Zombie. It is the player that is hostile to the Zombie, and they control the horse to attack the Zombie. 172.56.94.94 16:51, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
Do we know it can be saddled? I have not played the snapshot yet, but the texture does not seem to have a saddle texture in it. 172.56.94.94 17:02, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, it can. I just tested it moments ago. -- Nomis12 (T|C) NL Admin 17:05, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- Huh. I wonder why the texture does not include a saddle… 172.56.94.94 17:10, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- It probably just uses the normal camel saddle texture, because it also uses the same model. -- Nomis12 (T|C) NL Admin 17:20, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- Actually camel husk has it's own saddle texture and it's darker than regular variant Oakar567 (talk) 17:30, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- That is kind of interesting. We should add it to the page. 172.56.94.94 17:50, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
From testing I found out that camel husks natuarlly regnerate they're health over time, but this isn't mentioned anywhere on the page. CrockCraftMC (talk) 16:38, 29 October 2025 (UTC)
