There are already 124 renders (31×4=124; even after deduplication there are still 123), which is already exhausting to look at. and with another ~130 renders after 20w06a, it's obviously hell for anyone. I think they should be moved to asset history (at least before that asset history is properly completed). the same goes for mossy Cobblestone Walls. 👁 Image

- Currently in the process of doing this. Are we sure the render history is comprehensive? Did 15w44a (or whatever the snapshot that messed up fences was) do anything funky? - User-12316399 (talk) 21:34, 13 February 2026 (UTC)
- Checked, and yes, 15w44b did mess them up. 👁 Image

- Noted. Another thing to check would be the 1.7.2 mirroring situation (the logs history page already documents this one). I also don't know if, like with full cubes, the bottom texture mapping was originally flipped and was only corrected later (also documented on the history page for logs). - User-12316399 (talk) 21:44, 13 February 2026 (UTC)
- Yes, in 1.7.2 their UVs really were indeed mirrored. Also, the bottom UVs were indeed fixed starting in 14w07a. 👁 Image

- The ones without a post (other than the straight one)'s first revision also need to be reuploaded. If you go into the versions with the first wall revision and go into spectator mode you can see it doesn't fully go into the post, only partially. These block states that had no post (other than the straight ones) also didn't exist in vanilla yet, so should they be there before it was actually possible or should they be removed from the asset history? 👁 Image

- They also seemed to have a face on the inside where it normally isn't viewable. Not sure if it was like that when it was added, I was in 14w25a. 👁 Image

- Seems like it did have the face inside the post when first added. 👁 Image
