Talk:Green particle

Should this page just be a {{Set index}}? While the intro implies that this article is about a particular type of particle, it is actually about a set of different particles that currently use the same texture, File:Glint (texture) JE1 BE1.png, or glint.png in the game files. It might be better to add {{Anchor}}s to Particles (Java Edition) and Particles (Bedrock Edition) and make this page a set of links to those anchors. Rampage455 (talk) 17:04, 16 March 2026 (UTC)

The texture for this particle is called glint in the game assets; should this page be renamed to ‘Glint’? Or this should at least be noted on the page. Fluffy8x (talk) 01:56, 19 May 2026 (UTC)

If this page is going to stick around it should definitely just be glint, the green and copper versions aren't separate particles yet the page talks like they are. Realshow19 (talk) 01:58, 19 May 2026 (UTC)

The scrape, wax_on, wax_off, and electric_spark particle types all use the glow texture instead, which is tinted unlike glint. Fluffy8x (talk) 02:10, 19 May 2026 (UTC)

I don't think there's enough info for separate pages. I vote for merging with Particles, or if people really want to keep the page, turn it into a set index as I suggested in an earlier topic. Rampage455 (talk) 02:34, 19 May 2026 (UTC)
