Not helpfull I get anyone wouldn't want to to listen every block or item by version but if you gave up 1% of the way there then why why did you even make this small list i think there might be more blocks listed here but I didn't find where to find it.

Even though it isn't helpful to you that doesn't mean nobody else finds it helpful. Also what do you mean gave up 1% of the way? Java Edition is already complete. 👁 Image

All the blocks are listed in Category:Blocks GeberWolf (talk) 11:20, 16 September 2025 (UTC)

Should anvils be separated into the three categories?

cuz the person who added Anvil didn't add the 2 other ones Whydoyoucar3 (talk) 10:28, 31 January 2026 (UTC)

so i'm not adding it in bedrock for now Whydoyoucar3 (talk) 10:29, 31 January 2026 (UTC)
I think this is a great point and that they should be added, considering that they have different names, and separate entries on the Block page list. (as opposed to crops or cake, for example) and considering how they appear in the creative inventory Evouae (talk) 17:08, 31 January 2026 (UTC)
I'm realizing now that every potted plant is its own block, as well as the wall variants of torches, signs, heads, etc... Evouae (talk) 11:46, 3 February 2026 (UTC)

Should all technical blocks be added? (Java)

Considering that Air, End Gateway (block), and Soul Fire (among many others) are already on this list, should all of the other Technical blocks be added?

Such as, the wall signs, the candle cakes, and the potted flowers. Evouae (talk) 05:00, 10 February 2026 (UTC)

Re: the order of blocks in this list (Java)

Before the flattening, each block had a numerical ID. So, for each update that added multiple blocks, it would make sense to list them in their respective pre-flattening ID order. For example, Beta 1.5 added Spruce Sapling (6:1), Birch Sapling (6:2), Powered Rail (27), Detector Rail (28) and Cobweb (30). Doing it this way does lead to some inconsistencies, such as acacia usually being before dark oak, except with fences and fence gates. Yet, this is more historically accurate, so I believe it's the right call putting them in this order. That said, after the flattening, there is no longer such a direct way to order blocks within an update. Or is there? The creative mode inventory lists (almost) every block, in an order. Now this order changes pretty often, but when a set of blocks are added, they are added to the creative inventory in a certain order initially. In my opinion, this is really the only reliable way to order blocks post-flattening. If we instead order all the blocks based on the current creative inventory order, we would have to reorder this whole list pretty often. So, I opened the creative inventory in every update that added blocks post-flattening and recorded their order. I will now be updating this list in accordance with mine. I say all this to say that if you notice any weird inconsistencies with the order of blocks between versions, know that it's because of how they were initially ordered in the creative inventory. Again, this is kind of normal considering the inconsistencies with the old block IDs. Additionally, I have added the rest of the technical blocks previously missing in this list. Also just wanted to mention that White Cloth did not survive the removal of Cloth in Infdev. Rather, Light Gray Cloth became White Wool. Evouae (talk) 06:28, 21 February 2026 (UTC)

Data value in Bedrock Edition section

I think the column for the data value should be removed, since the Bedrock Edition Flattening and block states have made these mostly unneeded. 👁 Image
