The locator bar also works on other entities too, using waypoint_transmit_range attribute.
Heck, maybe rename it to "waypoint". Should I rename it?

locatorBar and useLocatorBar as game rules on BE and JE respectively, and how the BE experiment is also called "Locator Bar", calling them just "Locator bar" seems about right. Waypoint is not it because they are a part of the locator bar, i.e. you see entities' colored waypoints on the locator bar, not the other way around. the bowtie icon is actually visable in game, you just have to use the command /waypoint modify <target> style set bowtie MudkipzMcWiki (talk) 23:56, 13 May 2025 (UTC)

From my testing, this doesn't depend on the Y-level difference, but on whether or not the waypoint is within view of the camera vertically. Maybe it's also the 120° rule used horizontally, not sure. Either way this should be changed, as the Y-level is not a factor here. 2A02:8206:7A54:DB00:8D6C:6593:B2C3:D3BE 23:26, 28 June 2025 (UTC)
refers to waypoints as both squares and circles which I find subjective in context to the rest of the game's UI design style or any pixelated design that small. really could just call it a dot of varying sizes
also first trivia should be marked as Java only
