The Minecraft books is also avalible in Swedish. This maybe should be noted.

What about the Minecraft for Dummies? (just seen some adverts) here's a picture here are some of them http://agrandelife.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/minecraft-for-dummies-1.jpg (there are still more.) WillRazor (talk) 20:43, 24 November 2014 (UTC)
- I don't think that's an official Minecraft book, so it can't be added. Wolffillms (talk) 15:38, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
I saw about 4 bookstores have a sale: "Buy any of the Minecraft books and have a chance to get a Xbox One". Maybe this should be noted? 49.148.178.122 02:17, 20 March 2015 (UTC)
- Only if it's an official Mojang promotion. If it's just a local store having a giveaway, it doesn't belong here. -- Orthotopetalk 03:18, 20 March 2015 (UTC)
Why isn't there the Egmont version of the handbook, i would like to know? (Although the insides are same :P)--

my copy of the esential handbook is called : "beginner's handbook" instead. CHEEZE, gromit (talk) 20:21, 2 January 2022 (UTC)
the new version of the blockopedia has a custom texture for the end portal block / gateway and claims that you obtain deepslate just from the deep dark, witch has not been added yet and it claims that there are badland villages with red sandstone. i cannot find documentation on badland villages on this wiki therefore they do not exist. CHEEZE, gromit (talk) 20:30, 2 January 2022 (UTC)
"therefore does not exist"? wtf my cirnge before CHEEZE, gromit (talk) 20:12, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
There are many more Minecraft books than the official guidebooks alone. This page should be updated to include all official books and series of books officially produced, similar to the navbox. FlashGiant (talk) 07:07, 4 March 2025 (UTC)
The page was renamed to match the page using this term, but as far as I can tell there isn’t a source for this. Was this an actual name for a series? To me it just sounds like the name of a random web page. Realshow19 (talk) 21:32, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- No. Not for any series as far as I know of. The Official Minecraft Books sound more like a description than a name.
- Here we got Minecraft: The Complete Handbook Collection
- which means they do not fall under this name anyway 👁 Image
Ayaan 21:42, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- Then perhaps the page name should be Minecraft: The Complete Handbook Collection as I moved the page from Minecraft Books to The Official Minecraft Books not only to match the bolded name, but also because the first name is too vague.Drour1234 (talk) 21:47, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- That’s an even worse name, it’s a collection of specific books, not the name of series. We don’t need pages for rereleases either. Realshow19 (talk) 21:52, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- We also could have that page instead and of having pages for each guidebook.Drour1234 (talk) 22:12, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- It is important to note that this page covers more than just guide books, but rather most of the books made for the original Minecraft game. There are also other pages for the books on Minecraft Legends, as well as the movie. This is part of the reason why Minecraft Books was a good name, as it refers to the books pertaining to the base game, and includes all types of books, rather than just the guide books. FlashGiant (talk) 22:04, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- Then perhaps Mojang books would be a better name as that wouldn’t be applicable to other pages.Drour1234 (talk) 22:11, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- I think reverting to Minecraft Books would be best, these are books about Minecraft. Realshow19 (talk) 22:13, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- That would be even more applicable to the other games, and it would be a lot less straightforward. Worse, this could apply to Mojang's other games too. Minecraft Books is straight to the point that these are books about the game Minecraft. FlashGiant (talk) 22:14, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- Then perhaps it should be Minecraft books because there is no official name?Drour1234 (talk) 22:18, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- Also, some stores simply call them Minecraft Series.Drour1234 (talk) 22:20, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- Most people would think of in-game books when typing this name. The term “Minecraft Books” is pretty ambiguous and should not be used for one specific page.Drour1234 (talk) 21:47, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- Minecraft book redirects here, what about that? 👁 Image
NmF (talk) 21:51, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- That name is also ambiguous.Drour1234 (talk) 21:53, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- I personally like the generalisation as it is actually quite clear on what its about. The page then acts as a list of every book so then one could find a book they were looking for. 👁 Image
Ayaan 22:20, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- Most people wouldn’t bother beginning searches with the word Minecraft, they’re on the Minecraft wiki. If you’re gonna enforce this then nearly every page would need a redirect starting with Minecraft. Realshow19 (talk) 21:53, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- Having such redirects isn’t harmful.Drour1234 (talk) 22:11, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- It would be a tremendous amount of work for something redundant and most people wouldn’t even think to check for. Even if we had a bot set this up then the problem would be searches for things that actually do start with Minecraft getting bloated. Realshow19 (talk) 22:14, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
Some of the books have been released from different publishers with some differences. For example, the updated guide books from 2021-2023 has a release from Farshore and Random House Worlds. The Farshore release had different colored book covers while the Random House Worlds release had its book covers covered in gold. The release dates of both releases are also different and the same can be said for its ISBN. Based from the samples from the listings, they seem to have the same content inside.
Another example of the same book having different publishers with different book covers are "Minecraft: Epic Bases" and "Minecraft: Master Builds". bogical (talk) 15:10, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
