I dont want to change anything, but I'm pretty sure some images are missing in the PE Alpha and BE history sections. There's also no mention of the oak that generates in a woodland mansion room in the appearance section.

- Both of the rooms in the woodland mansion that contain trees are both dark oak. Unless you are talking about saplings you are wrong. A270 (talk) 00:03, 21 April 2025 (UTC)

- I suppose this page talks about oak tree rather than oak wood type. Oak products fit the planks page better, I think. Hxy123abc (talk) 04:28, 6 May 2025 (UTC)
What % likelihood is a fancy oak grown from a sapling? Nixinova T ā C 23:08, 3 November 2025 (UTC)
Reason: Jungle Bush is on a separate page from the jungle tree since it's an ungrowable, morphologically distinct variant of the jungle tree; I think this case should also be treated accordingly. 00:25, 4 November 2025 (UTC)

Support per nom, the swamp oak not being able to be grown makes it different enough that a split makes sense. Nixinova T ā C 00:25, 4 November 2025 (UTC)

Support, if this doesnt get split then the jungle tree and bush should be merged (for consistency), which is a stupid suggestion š Image

Strong oppose, unlike jungle bushes swamp oaks are morphologically basically the same as regular oaks, but with more leaves and vines. š align=top

- Basically the same, but different and different is what I hear. It doesn't really matter what they superficially look like, but rather the differences in how they are generated/grown, which I say are large enough to justify a split. Nixinova T ā C 01:00, 4 November 2025 (UTC)

Strong support Consistency with Jungle Bush. Like 75% of the page is irrelevant to swamp oaks. If a reader wants info on swamp oaks, then a separate page is reasonable, logical, and makes sense. Delvin4519 (talk) 00:10, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
- Why does the page say to split fancy oak, can I remove that. CrockCraftMC (talk) 19:48, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
- Because fancy oaks are even more distinct than swamp oaks are. There is no good reason to split swamp oaks but not fancy oaks. š align=top
Sightnado ( talk / contribs ) 20:25, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
- Swamp oaks can't be grown from oak saplings, have completely different generation requirements form oak trees. Fancy oaks can be grown from oak saplings and generate in the exact same places, have the exact same blocks, and if we split it then we will have to split an absurd amount of other pages as well. There is you good reason. CrockCraftMC (talk) 21:02, 19 November 2025 (UTC)

- I think we should only split Swamp Oak, not Fancy Oak, because Fancy Oak is a taller and larger version of Oak, but Swamp Oak is very similar to Oak, but differs in some conditions. š Image

- Oak and Fancy Oak are similar to Variant 1 and Variant 2 of Dark Oak š Image

Someone created the swamp oak page, so should we start removing swamp oak information from this page? CrockCraftMC (talk) 19:02, 1 December 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, but we should only remove some parts of Swamp Oak, not all because Swamp Oak is a type of oak. -- š Image

- To search for oak wood you go to the Oak Wood page. "Oak" itself, as with other tree types, already refers to the tree, like in real life, unless it is ambiguous, e.g. Jungle vs Jungle Tree.
- The tree you are looking for is Azalea Tree. ā 3A š BlockSprite lime-concrete.png: Sprite image for lime-concrete in Minecraft
