New tool definition

By the best definition I could come up with, a "tool" is an item with durability from "Tools&Utilities" tab in the Java creative inventory. There are 11 tools defined like this: pickaxe, axe, shovel, hoe, fishing rod, shears, carrot on a stick, warped fungus on a stick, elytra, flind&steel, brush. This set has a lot of things in common, which could not be said about previous set existing on this page. All tools have durability; all tools are in the same tab; all tools can't stack; all tools can receive enchantments through an anvil; all tools can be repaired.

I'm still not sure about what to do with education edition items, though: glow stick and sparkler. I can't really check on how they function, because I don't own the Bedrock version, but both of those are mentioned in durability article. Since Bedrock creative inventory is different, they don't fit into the definition. They obviously don't belong to the Combat section, which has other items with durability (swords, tridents, bows, crossbows, shields and armor). Also, "sparkler" article doesn't even mention it having durability, while "glow stick" does, but at a different value than the "durability" article itself... --Melwin22 (talk) 18:49, 1 November 2023 (UTC)

We can ignore the glow stick and sparkler. They're just aesthetic, and also they are in "Items" category of creative inventory, not in "Equipment" where "tools" and "weapons" are. 👁 Image
