Ampersand is nothing more than a highly stylized way of writing Latin et, meaning and. It is regarded as just a different way of writing the same word. Even the law doesn't distinguish between them; for example, you cannot deflect a trademark infringement suit by styling your company "Proctor and Gamble". So it really shouldn't matter which one we use, but if Mojang uses one or the other consistently, I'd say follow their usage. – Auldrick (talk · contribs) 01:08, 25 October 2018 (UTC)

Actually, I think it should be styled "Village & Pillage" instead of "Village and Pillage" because the official logo has the ampersand. For those of you who think it should stay "and" instead of "&" because of minecraft.net, keep in mind that the ampersand is never seen anywhere else on the site either, as far as I know. This page is about the whole major update of the Village and Pillage, yes. This would include minor releases such as 1.14.1 and 1.14.2. What features exactly do you think are missing?  Not happenin' - this article states that the features of Village & Pillage were added to Bedrock between 1.8.0 and 1.13.0, not 1.15.0, and that this update was also not solely released on Bedrock Edition. Bedrock 1.16.0's trivia section also states that 1.15.0 got skipped and was merged with 1.16.0, meaning that it is right for 1.15.0 to redirect there – JEC _talk @ 04:24, 20 February 2022 (UTC)

both of these parts are correct; smithing tables had no GUI functionality at the time of addition (update pages operate on this basis), and looms ARE cheaper than the old way to decorate banners as it consumes significantly less dye than before

Makes sense regarding the smithing table! I probably could’ve figured out that’s how the page works, sorry!

However, you’ve misunderstood what I was saying about the banners - I was suggesting a different word choice would clarify what the sentence means. I read “make banners” and thought it meant “craft banners” (like, cheaper than 6 wool + 1 stick on a crafting table) when what it actually does is decorate banners for cheaper than doing so on a crafting table, as you’ve said. I think replacing the word “make” with “decorate” or “add patterns to” or something along that line would be more clear.
