- Its intentional. Because some people cant do multiplayer for various reasons, they made it where throwing a diamond at a zombie counts 👁 Image

Thorns damage from burning zombies cannot put players on fire as of 1.21.11.
[edit source]I was testing regional difficulty effects with a mod that maxes regional difficulty and saw the part that burning zombies with thorns armor can set players that hit them on fire. I tested numerous times (keep in mind that max regional difficulty should guarantee that burning zombies spread fire) and I never got burned by thorns damage.
