What exactly do you mean by the logo "failing the test"? It's a registered trademark by a legal entity. Realshow19 (talk) 15:48, 21 March 2025 (UTC)
- Firstly: read this
- Secondly: trademark ≠ copyrighted content. Nesekf () 15:58, 21 March 2025 (UTC)
- This hardly answers my question, the logo is marked for a reason. Realshow19 (talk) 16:01, 21 March 2025 (UTC)

- trademark ≠ copyrighted content
- If picture fails threshold of originality, doesn't matter if its trademark, it becomes public domain. Nesekf () 16:14, 21 March 2025 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure it's more complex than this, otherwise most of the logos we have on record would be public domain. Realshow19 (talk) 16:16, 21 March 2025 (UTC)
- No. Google, Amazon, Ford, etc. logos are in the public domain because they can be reproduced by literally anyone. They're not copyrighted but they're trademarks and the latter is why you can't reuse them commercially without asking, not the first. Arina (she/her) 16:24, 21 March 2025 (UTC)

Not sure what the purpose of these edits is. The visual editor automatically adds whitespace whenever the infobox is edited so your edits are not going to last long. Nixinova T C 11:54, 6 June 2025 (UTC)

Hello! I am a editor from zh wiki. I noticed that you have recently moved many historical versions of pages in zh wiki. I know en wiki has discussed to use a timestamp to name version, but there is still no discussion on zhwiki, and your move will be reverted with '无共识更改 (changes without consensus )'. Just a reminder that other languages wikis are not subsidiaries of the en wiki, changes there still require consensus in the respective language. I hope you can take note of this. DXGdoude |Talk 02:51, 2 October 2025 (UTC)
- I have one question: does this noted in the MCW:RULES? Nesekf () 13:30, 2 October 2025 (UTC)
- No. But zh wiki has an article named “Minecraft Wiki不是什么 (Minecraft Wiki is not ... )”. I think you might need to read MCW:NOT#ENGLISH paragraph. Specifically, editing in zh wiki requires following the consensus of zh wiki. Although it may not be necessary, I still need to remind you that some people have been banned forever in zh wiki because of doing this many times. DXGdoude |Talk 07:33, 3 October 2025 (UTC)
- Another question: it is allowed create rules in the translations wikis what not exist on the main wiki? Nesekf () 07:35, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
- I mean consensus, not rules. I can also say that MCW:rules do not note that other language wikis must follow what en wiki does. I think you should understand the scope of MCW:rules, or there is no need to continue this conversation. DXGdoude |Talk 10:11, 5 October 2025 (UTC)
- I want say you one thing: on another wikis there's no discussions about renaming indev and infdev versions, but they start renaming versions like on the main wiki.
- Also, there's no discussion on mainwiki about adding more versions to be same like in Omniarchive index, but admins didn't revert my edits as a "non-consensus changes".
- If you want what your wiki is "independed", thats your opinion and i cannot change it. Nesekf () 11:08, 5 October 2025 (UTC)
- Hello! They left those messages just because they were holding that in ZH Wiki it's improper to move a lot of pages without discussion. And I also think so. Notice that ZH Wiki hadn't yet talked about whether to rename these old versions after their publish timestamp. So currently we thought it's better to leave them as they are. Anyway, if you found any interwiki links missing or wrong besides this problem, just feel free to fix that! Don Trueno T/C 07:58, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
- its not an answer of my question. Nesekf () 09:46, 5 October 2025 (UTC)
- It is noted in zhMCW's wiki rules that by deliberately not obeying consensus (zhMCW's R#2.5), your edits might be treated as disruptive. There have been lots of differences going on between all language wikis, such as naming schemas of version pages. One language wiki don't need to provide a translated version of their rules, as naturally they don't target other languages. Again, please acknowledge that English Minecraft Wiki is NOT "the main wiki", all wikis are treated the same and are in fact not translated version of English Minecraft Wiki. Since editors from zhMCW noticed that they don't want the change, I'd say you should probably follow it rather than moving the pages again.
- I'd explain the version naming schema in details. It has been the norm that zhMCW don't follow enMCW's version naming schema immediately; we only starts to do it when we feel necessary, as in Chinese we might expect different cases or different forms sometimes, so it could be normal for other language wikis to follow EN's change, and for zhMCW they keep it the old way for quite a while, or no change at all. -- Lakejason0 (Talk • Contribs) 11:36, 5 October 2025 (UTC) (Last edited on 11:42, 5 October 2025 (UTC))

Please refrain from fishing for users to block. It is very invasive. If you have a legitimate concern that a user is underage, please contact the administrators with evidence instead of trying to get the user to fess up. Being under 13 is only a TOS rule, and users are only to be blocked if they admit it themselves. Otherwise they are fully able to become constructive wiki users if they fly under the radar (proof:me). So please, don't fish for reasons to block people. Nixinova T ⁄ C 21:11, 24 October 2025 (UTC)
Please verify the PVNs you add are correct, it seems you just incremented it by one instead of checking in game. Nixinova T ⁄ C 18:15, 6 November 2025 (UTC)
- The PVNs is possibly wrong, i just quickly add them in module after snapshot release and often without checking them.
- I assumed what if number is wrong someone will already fix them on the same day when i added it. But due to you found this mistake only today, i think should less trust users. Nesekf () 19:34, 6 November 2025 (UTC)
- It's better for it to be pending than to be wrong. People would just assume you've checked them if you add them. Nixinova T ⁄ C 19:45, 6 November 2025 (UTC)
I see you've found another way to make a lot of edits that make no changes to the pages and will be superceded by any visual editor edit. I don't know why you need to spam up recent changes with these no-op edits. Nixinova T ⁄ C 10:22, 9 November 2025 (UTC)
- I doing it to make weight of the pages smaller.
- It's might be helpful for people with limited or slow internet. Nesekf () 10:47, 9 November 2025 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) it really won't. In fact it'll just make it take longer for the servers and to load up edit history. -~- Nerdguy2000 Talk Edits 15:18, 9 November 2025 (UTC)

- There's no more mentions about -1358 reupload, exept that tweet.
- Almost same situation with a1.2.3_03: this tweet published several minutes before release of _04, but all known mentions about update (after the tweet) on IRC logs or on forums is published when _04 is released, so _03 very possibly not exist. Nesekf () 16:48, 22 December 2025 (UTC)
