Get started with Podcasts on iPhone

The Podcasts app 👁 Image
offers millions of shows on a variety of topics such as news, true crime, comedy, and more. You can watch or listen online, or download episodes so you can play them even when you’re not connected to the internet.

Find podcasts

You can use the Search feature to find categories, channels, shows, or episodes that match your interests. Tap 👁 the Search button
or Search to browse shows by category. Enter a word or phrase such as a show name, person, or category to search for something specific.

Watch and listen to podcasts

Tap 👁 the Play button
to start playing a show or episode. For audio episodes, tap the MiniPlayer at the bottom of the screen to open the Now Playing screen, where you can access playback controls, view your queue or transcript, and select output devices for audio and video. Video episodes open directly in the Now Playing screen with full playback controls.

Follow a show

When you find a show you like, tap 👁 the Follow button
to add it to your library. You can choose whether to automatically download new episodes of shows you follow and get notifications when new episodes are available.
